Laughter Chefs Season 2 served up a hilariously spiritual twist this weekend as viral internet personality Hari Dham Sarkar, aka Bottle Baba, made a special guest appearance in its Week 8 episode. The self-styled “solution guru” entered the comedy-cooking battlefield promising to fix everyone’s problems—with just a bottle and a few well-timed “tis-tis-fuu.”

Hosted by Bharti Singh and judged by Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi, this episode’s first culinary challenge was crafting the perfect Kaju Kalash, a classic cashew-filled Indian sweet, and the second was Bharli Vangi, a Maharashtrian dish made of brinjal.

Dressed in full spiritual swag, Bottle Baba turned the kitchen into a comedy ashram. His signature mantra, “Main kuch bolta nahi… main sirf suntan hoon, aur tis tis foo karta hoon,” had the entire cast in splits. Krushna Abhishek, in peak form, replied, “Babaji, aap ek din mein kitna fook lete ho?” While Babaji asked Elvish about his problem and need, Abhishek Kumar chimed in and added, “Babaji, Elvish se aap mangiye… vo aapko sab de dega!” Sudesh Lehri joined in with a message for the audience: “Agar aapko kabhi raat mein bhi samasya ka samadhan chahiye, toh screen pe diye hue Babaji ke number ko block kijiye!”

In between spiritual satire, contestants competed in making Kaju Kalash, a tricky sweet requiring careful design and flavor balance. Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain impressed the judges with their presentation and flavor, securing the star. Chef Harpal praised their dish: “Filling bhi acchi hai, taste bhi… design bhi accha hai.”

For the second challenge, Bharli Vangi, Nia Sharma and Sudesh Lehri impressed Harpal ji with their authentic Maharashtrian taste and won the star. Amid the kitchen chaos, Abhishek joked with Nia Sharma and teased Sudesh Lehri by not coming back to his counter. Elvish stole a coconut from Ankita’s counter, and Aly ran and played with Babaji to avoid his water solution. Babaji stated he has an ashram and has treated more than 10,000 patients, to which Krishna replied, “Subah se kamar mein dard ho raha tha—Babaji ke aane ke baad sar mein bhi hone laga!” The episode ended with Krishna selling a star for ₹5000.

The next episode is coming up with even more kitchen chemistry and comic chaos as real-life couple Tejasswi Prakash and Karan Kundra join the show along with Jannat and the cast of Metro In Dino, who will help the celeb chefs tackle the daily challenge. With romance heating up the stove and Bharti’s jokes flying fast, the celeb chef duos will take on a dessert-themed challenge that promises sweet surprises and drama. As wildcard pairs settle in and the competition nears its final stretch, the pressure—and the laughter—is only going to rise. Don’t miss the madness in the next episode!
